Just Another Day at Work

Whoo it's finished I hope... unless I catch something that needs to be fixed later. All in all around 15 hours of painting using Corel Painter and a Wacom Tablet. There was much fudging around of backgrounds, learning how to use the motion blur tool, and painting speeders just to blur them to oblivion in that 15 hours but I finished somehow.

And since I feel this picture needs some explanation. This is another character I enjoy writing and RPing with, Aciea Skar'kla. She's an Arkanian Jedi Shadow from the Old Republic era. (Yes I know Arkanians typically only have 4 fingers, she has 5 because I purposely made her a bit of a 'mutant' you could say.) But she spends her time on Coruscant, typically looking like any other citizen until something pops up that requires her. In this case the something was an amulet which spawned these nasty black phantoms which you can see in her glasses. But a phantom had gotten away by jumping on a hover bus and she had the bright idea to get one of her comrades to drive a speeder while she jumped from speeder to hover bus and dealt with the thing before it could injure anyone, thus the sickening motion blur I likely went overboard with.
